The Core Scents.
Boy Smells began as an experiment in candle-making in the Los Angeles kitchen of co-founders and partners Matthew Herman and David Kien. Both fashion veterans – who worked in design and product development – they began by making the things they’d want to use daily, products that were fluid, essential, but also accessible.

FLORAL+SPICY. An epic floral scent, one that combines strength and softness, the elusive virtues of grace, difficult to find in a not-always-kind world. Inspired by Wedgwood porcelain and the Andy Warhol polaroid of Dolly Parton, CAMEO is absurdly pretty, to a subversive degree. Named after the 18th century stoneware pendants, depicting portraits in profile, Cameo evokes the pastel tones of blue and pink typical of the Neoclassical style.
